Analourdes Herrera
Analourdes Herrera, a US citizen with Mexican descent, is the Online PD Development Manager of the Online Professional Development team at the International Baccalaureate in The Hague, Netherlands. She has more than ten years experience working in international organizations and in designing and developing adult-centered e-learning and blended learning capacity building for key stakeholders in developing and developed countries. Prior to joining the IB, Analourdes worked at the International Training Centre of the ILO, a specialized agency of the United Nations, where she designed and facilitated a number of distance and blended learning workshops in Barbados, Budapest, Hungary, Kenya, South Africa, and Spain. Analourdes is the author of the learn2facilitate online workshop. She has Masters degree in Public Management from SDA Bocconi in Milan, Italy and a Bachelors degree in International Relations from Northeastern University in Boston, USA. Analourdes is bilingual in English and Spanish with advanced knowledge of Italian.

Analourdes Herrera, Online Professional Development Manager, will give an overview of IB’s PD offer to schools and in particular some new products and services which have recently been launched or are in development. There’ll be a chance to learn about face to face, blended and online workshops, PD for aspiring leaders as well as informal PD available as part of a new subscription service for schools.
