AREL STUDENTS MADE DEEP INQUIRIES INTO ADDICTION, ENVIRONMENTAL DESTROY, CHILDREN RIGHTS News
In the final year of PYP, students participate in a culminating project, the PYP exhibition. This requires that each student demonstrate engagement with the five essential elements of the programme. The exhibition is a significant event in the life of a PYP school and student. It is an opportunity for students to exhibit the attributes of the learner profile that have been developing throughout their engagement with the PYP.
Students are required to engage in a collaborative, transdisciplinary inquiry process that involves identifying, investigating and offering solutions to real-life issues or problems.
This year’s exhibition topics were listed as below:
• Addiction
• Environmental destroy
• Children Rights
For the ninth time, the exhibition was prepared by the 4th graders at our school. The exhibition took place on May 27th, 2015 with the participation of parents, students, administrators and teachers. 4th grade students made a presentation by using ICT, dance, music and drama and individual presentations done by posters, brochures, PowerPoint presentation and 3D models.
