AREL College has been awarded the International Quality Award for the international work conducted within the field. At the ceremony held by the European Union Center, principals from various schools were awarded the International Quality Award on behalf of their schools.

AREL College 7th grade students conducted a project called "Cross-Border Cultures" together with a school in Sweden through the e-twinning platform, which allows schools to collaborate and develop projects in Europe. In the project that aims to make learners more familiar with each other's cultures and develop their foreign language skills, the students found opportunities to get to know Sweden closely and developed their foreign language skills by building new friendships. Selected as one of the successful projects by the E-twinning Central Support Service, the project was awarded in Europe and Turkey and won the E-Twinning International Quality Award. The award was given to the school managers at the award ceremony held in June, 2017.
